  • What is SEER?

    An air conditioner's efficiency is measured in SEER. SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficieny Ratio. A unit's SEER is calculated by dividing the unit's cooling output over an average cooling season by the amount of electric energy input over the same period. To learn more, give us a call.

  • How can I tell if my air conditioner is broken?

    If the cool air has stopped flowing, the first thing you should do is check your thermostat. If your thermostat is working, but the air conditioner won't turn on make sure the breaker is not tripped at the panel. If those two main things are on and still not working don't hesitate to give us a call.

  • Why is my air conditioner freezing up?

    Nearly all air conditioner freeze ups are caused by either a lack of refrigerant, or a lack of air flow to the evaporator coils. If your air conditioner is freezing up, the first you should do is turn it off. If you continue to run it, the compressor could be damaged.
